- Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
- Provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Our volunteers, known as “blanketeers,” provide new handmade, washable blankets to be given as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children, ages 0-18. It is Project Linus' policy to accept blankets of all sizes, depending on local chapter needs. All blanket styles are welcome, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, croc

It is Project Linus' policy to accept blankets of all sizes, depending on local chapter needs. All blanket styles are welcome, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors. Always remember that blankets must be new handmade, washable, free of pins, and come from smoke-free environments due to allergy reasons.

Christine loves to crochet, knit, and sew. Over the years she has collected a considerable stash of yarns and fabric. In searching for an organization to help, she found Project Linus. Their mission aligned with her desire to reduce her stash while helping children. She started the Latah County Chapter in early 2023. She lives outside of
Christine loves to crochet, knit, and sew. Over the years she has collected a considerable stash of yarns and fabric. In searching for an organization to help, she found Project Linus. Their mission aligned with her desire to reduce her stash while helping children. She started the Latah County Chapter in early 2023. She lives outside of Harvard, ID with her husband, mother, 2 dogs, 2 horses, 2 goats, 5 chickens, and 13 wool producing sheep. She is a full time caregiver and breast cancer survivor.
